US R&B singer singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor Shaffer Chimere Smith better known to his fans as Ne-Yo is expecting his second child from his long-time girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.
The singer has also announced his engagement with the Shaw who is an Atlanta boutique owner and mother to his first child. Sources say baby number two is due in October.
Ne-Yo first became a dad in November 2010 when Shaw gave birth to his daughter Madilyn Grace.
A joyful Ne-Yo expressed his delight via micro blogging site Twitter, ‘She’s healthy and happy. Feels like I’m in luv for the first time’. ‘Welcoming that lil’ girl to the world last night defined for me what ‘willing to kill and die for’ truly means. My world, my life, all hers’, he continued.
Ne-Yo, 31, is currently working on his upcoming fifth studio album, due for a release later in 2011.
