The 2011 edition of the MTV Video Music Awards went down last night Saturday, August 29, 2011. An the big winners of the night were pop singing sensation Katy Perry who bagged three awards for ‘Best Collaboration‘, ‘Best Special Effects‘ and ‘Video of the Year‘.
Other multiple winners of the night were Pop star Lady Gaga and UK alternative singer Adele who clinched two awards each.
US pop singer Britney Spears honored with a ‘Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award‘ while Bruno Mars and Russell Brand paid a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse with a spectacular performance. Other performances of the night came from Lady Gaga, Jay Z and Kanye West, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Adele, Neyo and Pitbull, and others.
