There are quite a number of R&B singers in country at the moment and a notable is the Smooth singer Praiz. Born Praise Adejo he 28-year-old has been quite busy in recent times spending time in the studio and putting finishing touches to his still-to-be titled debut work.
Signed to X3M Music, Praiz has been on the tips of music lover tongues for a while now; after a stunning performance at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant this year and a few other show, music critics are now anticipating his singles.
According to his label the fast rising vocalist will be debuting with two new singles; ‘I love you’ and ‘Jekalo’ tomorrow Monday, August 29, 2011.
‘I’m offering these two songs to anyone who has ever felt the sweetness of love. Working on ‘I love you’ and ‘Jekalo’ was a positive experience for me and I’m talking to love birds on these cuts. It’s from Praiz with love and I’m sure everyone will fall in love with these songs’, Praiz says.
According to the uber talented act; ‘I love you’ featured production efforts by Wole Oni while Tee-Y Mix produced ‘Jekalo.
Since then he has gone on to wow music critics and fans with cameo appearances and collaborative efforts with top artistes in Nigeria; most notably his stellar performance on M.I’s ‘Epic’ and a guest appearance on alternative singer Bez‘s ‘Super Sun’ album. Praiz is signed to X3M music, a Lagos-based record label which houses rapper Overdose.
